Meet The Artist Kimberley Gates
Kimberley Gates has called Mt Vernon, Ohio home for the past 20+ years where she has been blessed with a beautiful life with her pilot-husband, Brian and her two sons and daughters-in-law. She was a self-taught Artist until becoming a graduate of Milan Art Institute. She loves working with oil paint, clay and stained-glass., weaving a thread with each of them. Life has taken her to many locations and along the way she has picked up amazing nuggets of wisdom, dusted off old ways of doing things and established new discoveries of being. Her art has become a reflection of not only her skill level growing, but also her view on life and the possibilities available to all.
As a result of taking an Intuitive Color Theory class in Santa Fe, New Mexico while making a month-long road-trip on an “artist quest”, she encountered The Reconnection. Even though she had no idea what energy or light worker meant at that time, she was wide open to receive. That event was so life altering for her that she became a Reconnective Healing Practitioner, and then followed that up by becoming a Reconnection Practitioner.
Kimberley truly “Entered the gates of possibilities.
A Lifelong Learning Journey
Kimberley considers herself a life-long learner. Her husband introduced her to quantum physics, and she became a student of faith. Always learning has been a catalyst for every step she has taken in the past 40 years. If you stop learning, then you stop growing as a person, and she believes personal growth is what makes life beautiful. Every event in life is an opportunity to grow…. Wisdom and beauty are all around us.
Finding Balance in Art
Kimberley had the opportunity to attend the conference called “Gathering of the Creatives” held in Santa Fe. As a result, she started her artist YouTube channel called “amessypainter” to help keep her on track with her painting. It is also an ‘out of box’ experience that once again has led to opportunities for growth. Currently, she has put the channel on hold after spending so much online during 2020 that a much-needed break was called for. Kimberley is hoping to get back to recording her painting once again once life slows down a bit. She also goes Live on Facebook from time to time to talk about her artwork. Always a growth opportunity for sure!
